Quick steps to get started mending a broken heart:
1. Ask yourself what that person represented for you. How did you feel when you were around that person? Start making yourself feel those ways.
2. Connect with the parts of you that the person represented to you.
3. Give yourself everything you felt in the relationship. The parts of you that you liked, connect with those, and the parts that you didn’t like, apologize to yourself for treating yourself those ways and say how you would like to feel going forward in your relationship with yourself.
