8. IS DEVELOPING SUSTAINABLE HAPPINESS EQUAL TO WINNING AN OLYMPIC CHALLENGE?
How many people do you know have achieved sustainable happiness?
I only know a handful.
Dr. Bob Nozik – 80 year old retired physician who wrote a book called Happy 4 Life: Here’s How do it has achieved sustainable happiness for over twenty five years. He has been one of my closest mentors and his book is the only required reading in the program.
Lionel Ketchian – 73 year old retired publisher who started The Happiness Club movement that spread world wide with about 100 different groups, has achieved happiness for twenty five years. His mentorship dictates the first step in sustainable happiness, empowerment.
Jinendra Swami – 68 year old purveyor and teacher of sustainable happiness, founder of his own sustainable happiness formula who travels around the world helping put happiness in the hands, hearts, and minds of global citizens. His contributions of wisdom and practical physiologically based happiness boosts are weaved throughout the Happiness Makeover system.
Dr. Robert Mueller – He passed away in 2010 at the age of 87, was Assistant Secretary General for the United Nations for almost 40 years. He wrote a book in his retirement called Most of all They Taught me Happiness. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 19 times, opened two Universities of Peace, hosted the first World Environment conference and explained to me happiness saved his life in a Nazi Death Camp.
9. IS THERE A BARRIER TO LEARNING SUSTAINABLE HAPPINESS?
The term Olympic infers unachievable and only a select few can participate while only one can achieve.
There is a barrier for most people to learn this topic because of it's rare nature.
Only a handful of people have succeeded and a small amount of research lends insight on its development and sustainability.
This barrier exists because the general public is without access to learning the implementation process of positive psychology and how to utilize happiness science to get the best results in their daily life.
Most people are still looking for happiness from the outside world and failing miserably.
Happiness Olympians have decided to do something different, acknowledge they need help, look to scientific breakthroughs for answers, be willing to do things differently and work hard at a totally new life perfecting the use of happiness science.
10. IS HAPPINESS TRAINING IMMERSIVE; LIKE TRAINING AN OLYMPIAN?
When the student begins the program, the number one focus is their own happiness.
Every thought, word and action is working toward or away from their happiness.
At any given moment the student could be thinking or doing up to 10 different activities.
Examples include, present moment awareness, acts of kindness, positive speech, positive thinking, gratitude, etc.
They also take on a new nutrition regimen & undergo a subconscious healing process.
Nothing is the same once the student begins.
They immediately gain control of their own happiness & implement happiness science.
It seems dramatic!
Yet this is so subtle that in all actuality nothing in the person’s life changes except their inner landscape at first.
Once the student begins the program they are given a series of activities to follow as a daily practice.
All of a sudden the student has a whole new way of being in the world rooted in happiness as a bulls-eye instead of a bi-product.
Over time, the student hones this practice into perfection.
11. WHAT IS THE PRIZE IN THE HAPPINESS OLYMPICS?
The best life has to offer.
Students who undergo this training see an improvement in their relationships up to three degrees of separation and their lives in general improve beyond most’s wildest dreams.
They live in a state of contentment, elation, high contribution and performance with optimal health.
They get to relax in the blue lagoon of peace as everyone else in the world is sucked into the tsunamis of a dramatic life.
There are few who can rise above the external to learn what it takes to sustain peace on the inside forever above external conditions.
The system that people learn in the “Make Me Happy!” The Happiness Makeover ® program appears to be easy from the outside.
Yet, when put to the daily test each individual must give it their all and overcome their challenges to be able to create a peaceful heart and a tranquil mind.
Their happiness is tested and challenged consistently by the media, terrorist attacks, cruelty, uncertain political landscape, loss of jobs, health concerns, family feuds, heart aches, break ups, divorces, miscarriages, and more.
This is different than battling a bad hair day.
How do you keep peace amidst the constant barrage of life challenges?
This is the Happiness Olympics.
This is why people do the work.
The Happiness Olympian becomes the
eye in the storm
- calm in the chaos
- upward spiral
- magic carpet ride
- peaceful bliss
- positive relationships
- deep contentment
- inner fulfillment
- high performing
- positive health status
- on purpose
- strength driven
Are you ready to develop the Happiness Olympian inside you?
I am are here to help.
1) Sustainable happiness is deep inner contentment and inner fulfillment, which is different than a positive emotion in your brain (woo-woo).
2) I am encouraging to have mastery over the emotional state instead of teaching the repression of negative emotions or that negative emotions are bad.
